We will normally hold an available date for you for a maximum of one week, although longer reservations may be possible - this must be agreed on when we contact you. If you do not confirm the booking by the agreed date, we cannot guarantee to remain available. Once you have paid a booking deposit we will then guarantee to hold your date.
Some times of the year are far busier than others, e.g. weekends during the summer months and the Christmas/New Year period. During these peak periods we may have to be more restrictive concerning date reservations.
If you do wish to make a provisional booking, you can do so by phone or online.
The telephone contact numbers are 07863 166884 or 07905 388777. To book online, simply send an email with your basic requirements and contact details to info@redhotradiators.com (or if you simply wish to raise a query click here to see the online contact form).
Alternatively, click here to complete the appropriate online booking form. You will not be asked for any payment details at this time. Again, your provisional booking information will go directly to a member of the band, who will contact you personally to discuss your requirements.
Yes, we will use all our own equipment, unless a suitable sound system is already installed at the venue. For very large venues or large open air gigs we would need to hire additional equipment. We can discuss such arrangements with you at the time of booking. We do however need a safe electricity supply and at least 2 x 13amp sockets.
We have frequently been asked to do gigs at short notice, and when this happens we will do everything we possibly can to help you. Obviously the more notice we have the better, but we will try to accommodate you, even if the event is on the same day you contact us.
We pride ourselves on dealing with all enquiries personally and professionally. You will not face a “hard-sell” and you are under absolutely no obligation to make a booking.
Ah, the thorny issue of payment - had to come into it somewhere didn't it?
Unfortunately, this is a real "how long is a piece of string?" question. Although we have a ball-park figure, the fee really does have to vary depending on location, start time, end time and total playing time expected.
For example we would obviously charge more to play a venue that took over an hour to get to and where we were expected to play for over 2 hours, finishing at past midnight (and we have done these!), than a local gig where we were booked for the standard two 45 minute sets.
Also, bear in mind that although we may be actually playing for 1-2 hours, we'll be setting off early to get to the venue hours beforehand to set up all the equipment, waiting around for the start time - then stripping it all down again afterward, packing it all up and driving home in the wee small hours.
Remember - Take about £30 in petrol money from the the cost you get quoted. Then divide the remainder by the number of hours from leaving home to returning again (at least 6 hours for an average 9pm-11pm gig), and then again by four (group members) and you'll be surprised at the hourly rate!
Yes, we normally provide a CD player free of charge to play background music between sets if required. Please let us know at the time of booking there are any specific types of music or songs you would prefer (or not) to have played.
Can you play a specific song (for example, at my wedding or party)?
If you have a song that means a lot to you and you would like it as, for example, the first dance for the Bride and Groom at a wedding or a major “sing along” number at a party then let us know. We will do everything possible to have it ready for your event. However, there may be times where this is impossible, for example when there is insufficient notice or when the original can’t be reproduced acceptably (we don’t have a male voice choice and a full orchestra!)
You have our assurance that we will do our utmost and will keep you informed if we need to make alternative arrangements.
This will depend on the venue and the event. The band would normally play a minimum of 2 x 45 minute sets, whilst for weddings you could expect at least 2 hours of music. However, these are only rough minimum guides and circumstances will usually dictate the appropriate length of time. We will discuss with you how long you'd like us to perform before confirming your booking.
We always aim to give you the best entertainment possible. It is not at all unusual for the band to continue playing well after the original agreed finish time, simply because everyone is having such a good time!
